POLICY FOR WEB ANALYTICS, SOCIAL NETWORKS AND ADVERTISING

Web analytics

The website eurobet.bg uses Google Analytics[1], which is a web analytics service by Google LLC, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (“Google“). Google Analytics uses cookies. Any information about the way website users use the website(s) collected through the Google Analytics cookie, is usually sent to Google’s IT infrastructure in the US and stored there. The data is processed on the grounds of the legal regulations of Art. 96, para. 3 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act, as well as of Art. 6, para. 1, letter “a” (advance consent) and/or “f” (legitimate interest) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), also known as Regulation 2016/679 or GDPR. The task of BeConnected Bulgaria OOD, as per the Regulation (legitimate interest), is to improve the commercial offerings and the web presentation of the BeConnected Bulgaria OOD website(s). The user data (IP address), used by these Google Analytics cookies, are anonymised. This process deletes the last digit of your IP address. That means that only broad localisation is then possible, which allows the personal data of users of BeConnected Bulgaria OOD’s website(s) to remain protected as per the requirements of the Regulation.

Data collected for site visitors:

All websites collect user data — both for registered users and unregistered visitors — in the following data categories:

IP address;
User ID with a high degree of uniqueness;
Device ID for mobile applications, with a high degree of uniqueness;
Browser ID with a high degree of uniqueness;
History of visited pages, including secondary processing, with the purpose of determining preferences for specific types of content;
Some types of behaviour – eg., a list of ads viewed, sorted by category and the interaction with them – presence of the ad in the visible portion of the browser; clicks; clicking buttons to hide the ad, etc.

Google Conversion Tracking

Google Conversion Tracking lets us and Google recognise that someone has clicked our ad in Google and was then redirected to our page. We cannot see what other web pages you have opened. The information, collected through Google Conversion Tracking, is meant only for preparing statistics about the success rate and usage of our advertising campaigns in AdWords. We do not collect and we do not receive information that allows personal identification of users.

Statistical research and analytics

Google’s website(s) contain a pixel or web beacon, which is retrieved by the electronic service supplier’s server. The beacon collects mostly technical information about browsers used, as well as a user’s IP address and time of query on the website. This information is then used for technical improvement of the service, based on technical data, and for specifying target groups and their reading habits, based on the locations of querying (which can be determined through the IP address) or the times of access. Statistical research also includes information regarding whether the website(s) was/were opened, when it/they were opened and what links were clicked on. This information is not used for tracking users, but for recognising their reading habits with the goal to adapt content to those habits or to send different content in accordance with their interests.

Browser view and data management

It is possible for BeConnected Bulgaria OOD’s website(s) to contain links that redirect to web pages on other websites. These hyperlinks are used to present the online newsletter, as well as to provide the opportunity to unsubscribe; the links are not involved in the process of personal data management.

Social networks:

Your access to social networks like Facebook, Google+, YouTube, Twitter and others involves a separate registration and acceptance of the terms and conditions of those websites. BeConnected Bulgaria OOD is not responsible for your personal data’s protection when you accept those terms and conditions, which means you should get to know those websites’ terms and conditions separately.

Facebook

This social network uses Social Plugins (“Plugins”) of the social network facebook.com, which is maintained by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. (“Facebook”).

Plugins can be recognised by the Facebook logos (a white “f” against a blue background or a “thumb’s up”), or by the notation “Facebook Social Plugin”.

When you visit a web page, your browser immediately makes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers. The content of this Plugin will be transferred from Facebook directly to your browser, which will then connect it to the web page. BeConnected Bulgaria OOD cannot influence the amount of data that Facebook collects through these Plugins. That is why, through the following link, we only inform you of what we know http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=17512

By connecting to these Plugins, Facebook receives information that our respective web page or platform was visited. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can attribute this visit to your profile. If you interact with these Plugins, eg. if you click the “Like” button or write a comment, that information will be transferred immediately from your browser to Facebook and will be stored there. If you are not registered on Facebook, Facebook can still find out your IP address and store it.

These Facebook Plugins can be attached by website operators on their own Internet pages or platforms. With a click on those Plugins, the users that have a Facebook registration can automatically post on their profile that they like the information from the website operator’s links. The Plugin that is connected to Facebook “communicates” with Facebook live and if the web page is visited, the Plugin sends the data to Facebook – even if the user hasn’t clicked on the Plugins.

Through the so-called iFrame link, in addition to the started page, the browser also loads another smaller “page inside the page”, which contains the respective Plugin. When a Plugin belongs to Facebook, this iFrame link or the source text comes solely from Facebook and cannot be controlled or processed by BeConnected Bulgaria OOD.

If the browser tries to connect to the social network’s server again later, the cookie is transferred and may facilitate the creation of a profile. A connection can also be made with the information, contained in the cookie, for users who register later on.

If the user is logged into the current Facebook session, information will be transferred both for the page and for the cookie; moreover, this session ID information can be attributed to the respective account.

We are not familiar with the range of data and the purposes for which it is collected, nor with the way it is used by Facebook. For information about your rights and your options to setup protection of your personal data, we ask you to approach Facebook Inc. or to follow Facebook’s instructions for personal data protection.

With Add-ons, you can block Facebook-Social-Plugins for your browser, for example by using “Facebook Blocker”.

Facebook Social Plugins

Facebook Conversion Pixel and Facebook Remarketing

Through the Facebook Conversion Pixel, both Facebook and BeConnected understand that someone clicked our Facebook ad and was redirected to our web page. We cannot see what other web pages you have opened. The information, collected through Facebook Conversion Pixel, is meant for preparing statistics about the success rate and usage of our ads on Facebook. We do not collect and we do not receive information that allows personal identification of users.

Through the Facebook Remarketing technology, users that have visited our web pages can receive targeted advertising on Facebook’s web pages. We do not collect data and we do not track which Facebook users targeted ads are shown. We have no possibility of identifying individual users here either. Google AdWords

This website uses Google AdWords, a remarketing and behavioural targeting service, provided by Google. With this service, the advertising activity of www.hippoland.net is connected to the Adwords advertising network through cookies (see more information about cookies here). BeConnected Bulgaria OOD does not identify and collect data about users through Google AdWords. You can reject displaying ads through Google AdWords here.

Logs

Log for account logins

This log enables detecting and automatically blocking unregulated attempts for access to accounts. It is kept for a period of up to 1 (one) year and it contains date and time of logging into the account, status, whether the login was made through a mobile device, an app or a desktop browser, and the IP address.

Server logs

Logs of security devices (Web Application Firewalls) and other devices in this category. These logs are necessary to detect technical issues and malicious activities and for more of the goals described above. They are kept for a period of up to 1 (one) year. Logs may contain the following information: date and time, IP address, URL, browser and device information. In addition, some of the devices may use security technology based on cookies.

Encryption

We take technical and organisational security measures to protect your data from unwanted access and breaches to the highest degree possible. Together with ensuring our information infrastructure, all departments use encryption methods. In order to prevent misuse of your data by third parties, the information you submit is transported and verified in encrypted form through the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol.

This is recognisable in the locked padlock icon in your browser’s progress bar and the web address starting with https.

Modern websites use different systems for analytics and improving the delivery of products and services to users and it is not possible to describe them in detail. If you have any concerns about the information that our website collects, we encourage you to use the Incognito option of the Google Chrome browser or Firefox’s Private Browsing.
